FZLV device manufactured by AWEX is an emergency lighting group system (I protection class) intended to power up to 80 emergency lighting luminaires. Each luminaire connected to the system can work in various and independent modes. 

The luminaires are supplied with low safe rated voltage (24V) through a two-conductor cable. Communication between luminaires and the system is possible thanks to the power supply line, without any additional communication wiring. Each luminaire (address module) has its own unique manufacturing address. This address is assigned logically in the system and can be attributed with control. 

Through the touch-screen, the programmable controller shows the current system status and its elements. The screen can be used to attribute descriptions to each luminaire and change their control (password required). The unit has a SD card connector which allows recording the event log and configuring the system.  4 programmable relay outputs allow transmitting system status messages. The system has built-in RJ-45 connector via which it is possible to gain remote access to the system through HTML or Smart Visio.  

FZLV system includes as follows:

FZLV cabinets

The system has been equipped with own batteries of a capacity dependent upon load and required period of emergency lighting support. The system can be applied particularly in the area of designated fire zones. Thanks to the fact that the cabinet is small, it is possible to install the system in places which exclude large-size central battery systems. Thanks to the fact that the cabinet is small, it is possible to install the system in places which exclude large-size central battery systems.

The device controller allows programming and configuring emergency lighting luminaires in night mode, and it is also possible to dim emergency luminaires in network mode with a setting every 1%. Delayed emergency stop switch function serves
to let emergency luminaires remain switched on for a required period of time when the mains power is back. The function of automatic search and adding luminaires to the system does not require attributing the address to a luminaire. Due to the method 
of managing the plant, the use of address modes with manual work mode selection is excluded. 

The system has its own IP address and RJ45 connector serving to connect the system directly to Ethernet network. Thanks to an built-in WEB module, it is possible to have a direct access to the system from any computer, and it is possible to use any Internet browser to print the event log. Additionally, the system is equipped with the SD card and input which allow saving and restoring system settings (the so-called back up), as well as saving Event Log reports pursuant to PN-EN 50172. Since it is possible to save reports on SD card, it is also feasible to print the Event Log from any PC equipped with SD slot and access to the printer without any additional dedicated software. All settings are saved in permanent storage of the device and thus will not be lost even in the event of the power cuts and battery power supply failures. SD card also serves to update the firmware of the central unit and emergency luminaires and it is not necessary to interfere in the device. The system can communicate with BMS of the building via potential-free contacts, protocol BACnet or MODBUS.

CZF sensor

The CZF is equipped with a controller that checks the input voltage and compares it with the detection threshold. If the voltage value on all phases is above the threshold, the relay is switched on. The detection threshold is in the range of 138 V AC ÷ 195 V AC and complies with the standard PN-EN 60598-2-22.
Three, two-colour LED lights, labelled L1, L2, L3, are used to signal the input voltage level, an incorrect power supply level is signalled in red and a correct one in green. The yellow light indicates the status of the relay, it lights up when the relay is switched on.

PZS panel

The panel is intended for remote status of basic system statuses, such as mains (network) operation, battery operation, defect. Thanks to a built-in key, it is possible to lock the continuous and emergency operation. Such solution protects the system against unauthorized access. FZLV system is intended to cooperate with one PZS module. To connect two or more PZS panels to one FZLV system, it is necessary to assure special PZS panels.
